XM19/Nitronic Round Bar has a unique combination of corrosion resistance and strength that no other commercial commodity in its price range can match. This austenitic stainless steel has greater corrosion resistance than Types 316 and 316L, as well as nearly twice the yield power at room temperature. Furthermore, unlike many austenitic stainless steels, NITRONIC 50 Stainless has excellent mechanical properties at both elevated and sub-zero temperatures, and it does not become magnetic when cold worked.
